Our Mission

Our Mission

The Museum shall have as its purpose the presentation of programs of interest and exhibits for the education of the public and preservation of antiquities relating to the history of Maine culture since colonial times.

The Museum is available, when open and by appointment, and has resources available for research and limited loans to local groups with shared interests. There are field trip opportunities available to travel groups, local schools and community service organizations. Contact the Museum for details. Generally availability is during July and August with special arrangements possible during June and September.
